Many of the Richmond Hill players have commented that some of and atleast one of the All Region Awards were based on Who you were rather that what how you preformed in regional games. The season final stats also support their comments. It would be interesting to know how the nominations were made and what information was given to the regional coaches that voted.

I’ll try and help you out.
This is how region players are selected.
Each Coach in the Region is given a form.
Each Coach selects members according to position.
Coaches usually don’t vote for their own players.
Ballots are created with the nominations.
Each Region Coach gets a ballot and votes 1st team, 2nd team & honorable mention.
Ballots are turned into the region Secretary. Players selected are based on number of votes.
Stats don’t play into it. Each coach votes according to what he has seen either by playing the team in which a player is selected or by watching the game film he received prior to the game in which they played.

The word is out that the new RHHS Football Coach has told an Athlete that is part of a Spring Sport Team that if he don't come to after School workouts he will not be allowed to play this fall. Is this accurate ? Is this fair ? I vote ...
