Charlie, move on to something else. Your continuous complaining about the amphitheater is embarrassing to yourself and the school board. Ask your fellow board members. Instead of complaining all the time, why don't you try this novel concept. Try coming up with an idea or suggestion on how to make it better. Of course, you continue to hunger for the limelight by posting ludicrous blogs. Try turning your attention to something else you apparently know little about - the school board. I voted for you once but I won't make tht mistake again. We're all stuck with the amphitheater but you've got as much mileage as you can out of that one.
Thanks for the comment, but make no mistake about it, this has nothing to do with the School Board and my comments do not represent the school board. NEWS FLASH....I AM A PRIVATE CITIZEN AND A TAX PAYER TOO. My suggestion is for the city to hire an engineer to determine how to expand/fix the stage so it can be used. No complaint, just trying to motivate the city leaders to take some positive action. I appreciate your vote but am saddened you feel it was a mistake; research your candidate better as I have done exactly what I said I would do if elected. No limelight here. Curious to know how you assess my knowledge about school board issues; ever come to a meeting? Not really worried about your vote as I have, at this time, no intention of running again. Thanks again, I like your user ID! I prefer to use my real name though as I don't like to hide behind a screen name. Have a great day and enjoy the festival.

TiredofCharlieJohnson,
Boy it's weird typing my own name as your screen name! I just wanted to let you know that I would give your comments the consideration they deserve and are warranted. Thanks again.

No need to throw good money after bad at the amphithetere. The money spent on the amphitheater could have gone a long way to repair roads and drainage issues within the city.
I agree, Charlie!
I watched those local dance performers on that portable stage. The stage looked like it was about to fall down at any moment!! You could see where the floor was uneven, providing a safety issue. Not to mention everyone someone did a jump, the whole thing swayed! I kept waiting for it to fall down. Maybe next year, the local daytime talent use the amphitheater instead. It should get some sort of use!!
The amphitheater was quite the topic of conversation at the Seafood Festival, even by the children.
From what I heard being said this weekend, 99% of the people around here agree with Mr. Johnson.
Asking about the amphitheater is like spitting in the wind! Only thing that you get back is your own spit!
doesn't anyone wonder where $800,000.00 dollars was spent on the amphitheater? of which app. $180,000.00 was paid for architectural/engineering fees... who'd like that kind of pay for designing little more than a backyard structure?
