A day of action

Take Me To Post Comment Form

So today is "A day of Action" according to a few impatient "occupy" protestors. This is an awesome movement that could trully point out some of the Big business greed if used that way, but instead in true american fasion there are a few that wish for instant gratification. So many people from the far right are screaming that this is nothing but a support of Big government, and the "Tea party" movement has been called a advocation of big Business. Why couldn't these two groups find a middle ground and be called the supporters of Big Middle class? Or are we just as guilty of the inability to compromise as the government officials that we criticize on a daily basis, for their failure to do so? The people caught in the middle are the people that have to go to work. It's not that we don't find some truth that we could support in both sides of the argument but with the responsibilities of daily life we get squoze into a position of conformation. So good for you young people that have the where with all to realize that now is your time to make a difference, just don't get impatient. Through the civil rights fights more was achieved on the back of peaceful protest than was ever gained by violence. The opposition wants you to fight because that gives them the excuse to shut you down.

Not taxed enough?
November 09, 2011
Americans are hillarious sometimes. We spend 26% of our peer conversations complaining about taxes and the weather and the first time we have an opportunity to change our situatio, we go against our own beliefs. I understand the benefits of SPLOST and I understand that visitors will carry +/- 40% ...
