The American Red Cross continues to provide assistance to victims of Hurricane Gustav, spending an estimated $20 - $30 million a week to feed those displaced by the storm. From the 'just so you know' department ....
Usually, the Bryan County News' Saturday paper is put together from Thursday afternoon through Friday evening and we try to finish up by 7 p.m.
I’m bumping that schedule up a bit this week. Unless Hanna manages to disappear or turn toward Europe between now and early Thursday afternoon, most of the paper will be finished before I go home Thursday night or early Friday morning.
