||The Children’s Village in Richmond Hill will host a bone marrow registry drive from 2-6 p.m. Monday at the school located in the Crossroad’s Center on Highway 17. The registry drive is to benefit Evan Nelms, a Richmond Hill boy who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia last year. To become a member of the bone marrow donor registry, donors must be between the ages of 18 and 60, meet health guidelines, complete a consent form and give a swab of cheek cells. Seventy-five percent of all donations is similar to donating blood and does not require surgery. For more information about the drive, call 756-8688.
